Latest News
Welcome to the latest news from WGRV News! We’re here to keep you connected to your community by providing the latest local and national news and weather and sports updates. In this week’s blog post, we’ll discuss the opioid crisis in our area and what you can do to help.
We want to remind our viewers that it is never too late to get help if you are struggling with an addiction to opioids. Many resources are available, including treatment options through your local hospital or clinic, support groups, and medication-assisted treatments such as methadone or buprenorphine. Please remember there is no shame in seeking help; every person deserves access to quality care.
If you know someone struggling with opioid addiction, please seek support. You might also want to consider joining a coalition like Save Our Sons and Daughters or Communities United Against Substance Abuse (CUASA) to advocate for change for those affected by the opioid crisis. We hope this information will help you stay connected to your community and make a difference!
